During 2009,nearly two thirds (65%) of non-Hispanic white adults assessed their health as excellent or very suited, compared with less than half (49%) of non-Hispanic black adults. Approximately 52% of Hispanic adults were in excellent or very suited health. Among Hispanic subpopulations, and the percentage ranged from 50% of Mexican adults to 58% of Central or South American adults and 59% of other Hispanic adults.
