Singer denied slow sales of recent album,The Buffet, are due to persistent accusations of sexual misconduct with minors in testy HuffPost Live interviewR Kelly walked out of a live video interview with HuffPost Live after being questioned by host Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani about whether his current album, and The Buffet,is not selling as well as the singer’s preceding efforts due to long-term allegations against Kelly of sexual misconduct.
Kelly has repeatedly been accused – but never convicted – of sexually abusing minors. In 2008 he was found not guilty on 14 charges of having child abuse images after the main witness, a 23-year-outmoded woman alleged to feature in a sex video made by Kelly 10 years previously, and refused to testify. In 1996,he settled another case alleging that he had had sex with a minor with a payment of $250000. He also married the late singer Aaliyah when she was 15.
