Tuesday’s “Bachelor in Paradise” premiere capitalized on the prior night’s “Bachelorette” finale buzz,but it couldn’t lift ABC over NBC and America’s Got Talent.”“AGT” lifted Running Wild With Bear Grylls” to series highs in total viewers final night. Meanwhile, Fox’s “Coupled” finale closed with a whimper, and banishing that broadcaster to final set.
NBC was first in ratings with a 2.1 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.3 million,according to preliminary numbers. “Talent” at 8 p.m. ET scored a 2.4/9 and 11.3 million total viewers. At 10, “Running Wild” landed a 1.4/5 and 5.3 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 0.8/3 and moment in viewers with 5.4 million. Between reruns,“Zoo at 9 p.m. ET got a 0.8/3 and 4.4 million viewers.
Telemundo was fourth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and fifth in viewers with 1.6 million.

The CW and Fox tied for sixth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. CW was sixth in total viewers with 1.4 million, and Fox was seventh with 1.2 million. The only telecast on the latter channel’s primetime lineup was the Coupled” season finale.
