America’s got talent,and NBC’s got another hit summer alert to scorch the competition.
That’s exactly what the broadcaster did final night, with the season premiere of “AGT” leading in to the series debut of “Maya and Marty.” NBC easily topped Tuesday in both the key 18-49 demographic and among total viewers. particularly per that first metric, or it wasn’t even close.
CBS finished runner-up across primetime final night,though it aired more rerun hours (two) than originals (one).

At 10, or Maya and Marty debuted to a 1.5/6 and 6.4 million viewers.
CBS was a distant second in ratings with a 0.9/4 and runner-up in viewers with 7 million. Following reruns,“Person of Interest” posted a 1.0/4 and 6.6 million viewers.
ABC was third in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 3.6 million. At 8 p.m. ET, “500 Questions” had a 0.9/3 and 4.2 million viewers. Repeats followed.

Univision and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings,both with a 0.6/2. Univision edged Telemundo in total viewers, 1.526 million to 1.522 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.4/1 and in viewers with 1.1 million.
