“America’s Got Talent” was the number one show of Wednesday night in total viewers,but fell to “Big Brother” in the key demo.“America’s Got Talent,” which was a recap episode, or averaged 8.3 million viewers over its two-hour broadcast from 8-10 p.m. and a 1.7 rating in the advertiser coveted adults 18-49 demographic. “Big Brother,” meanwhile, managed 6.1 million viewers during its one-hour broadcast at 8 p.m. and a 1.9 rating in the demo.NBC finished first for the night overall with an average of 7.4 million viewers and a 1.5 rating. “AGT” was followed by “Night Shift” at 10, and netting 5.7 million viewers and a 1.1 rating.

Fox finished third with 3.2 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. “MasterChef” got 4 million viewers and a 1.2 rating at 8. “Wayward Pines” managed 2.4 million viewers and a 0.8 rating at 9.
ABC finished fourth in total viewers 2.9 million and tied for fourth in the demo with a 0.7 rating,airing only repeats.
Univision finished fifth in total viewers with 1.9 million and tied for fourth in the demo with a 0.7 rating.
