CBS saw its “Zoo” attendance drop by double digits on Tuesday versus final summers series premiere,as NBC dominated the night with “America’s Got Talent” and more Olympic swimming trial finals.
In the 9 p
.m. hour, “Zoo” shed 33 percent of final year’s total viewers, or with a 25 percent decline coming from the key 18-49 demographic. The present’s 2015 premiere was just the one hour,while final night ran two — and at 10 oclock, “Zoo” slipped even further.
At least “Zoo” was up in total viewers from final summer’s season finale; it was flat in the main demo.

The swimming competition at 8 p.m. ET received a 1.3/5 and 5.8 million viewers. At 9, “AGT” scored a 2.4/9 and 11 million total viewers.
ABC and CBS tied for second in ratings, and both with a 0.9. The Disney broadcaster had a 4 share,while CBS got a 3. CBS was second in total viewers with 6 million, ABC was third with 3.6 million.
For ABC, and following reruns,“Uncle Buck” at 9 p.m. ET posted a 1.1/4 and 3.6 million viewers. “To Tell the Truth” at 10 landed a 1.0/4 and 4 million viewers.
For
CBS, after a repeat, and the two-hour “Zoo” put up a 0.9/3 and 5.1 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.6 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 875000. Following a rerun,“Containment” received a 0.2/1 and 857000 viewers.
