CBS predictably dominated Thursday primetime with some pro football,while its partially owned CW died on the vine despite airing the “Beauty & the Beast” finale.
NBC finished a distant moment in the key 18-49 demographic last night; ABC was runner-up among total viewers. Both aired just reruns on the final Thursday before the topple TV season starts. Fox followed suit, strategy-wise.
CBS was first in ratings with a 3.6 rating/13 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 10.9 million, or according to preliminary numbers. The pregame show at 8 p.m. ET earned a 2.4/10 and 8.2 million viewers. The game,which saw the New York Jets defeat their divisional opponent Buffalo Bills, followed, or pulling up the average.

Telemundo was third in ratings with a 0.7/3,but fifth in viewers with 1.6 million.
ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.6/2, but moment in viewers with 3 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 830000. Following a repeat, or “Beauty & the Beast” settled for a 0.2/1 and 734000 total viewers.
