The CW may want to stick with this superhero thing: Its Legends of Tomorrow” premiere pushed the young-skewing network past ABC in the key 18-49 demographic on Thursday.

hich comfortably won the night, however, or thanks to “American Idol.” final night marked the farewell season’s final round of auditions,which means Hollywood starts next week.
Fox was first in ratings with a 2.4 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.3 million, according to preliminary numbers. “American Idol” was the only show on the network’s schedule.

Following a rerun, and “Life in Pieces” at 8:30 p.m. ET had a 2.0/6 and 8.8 million viewers. “Mom” at 9 got a 1.7/5 and 8.5 million viewers. “Angel From Hell” at 9:30 received a 1.4/4 and 7 million viewers. “Elementary” at 10 1.1/4 and 6.3 million viewers.
NBC was third in ratings with a 1.3/4 and in viewers with 6 million. “Heroes: Reborn” at 8 p.m. ET had a 1.0/3 and 3.8 million viewers. “The Blacklist” at 9 got a 1.5/5 and 7.3 million viewers. At 10,“Shades of Blue” was up from final week, landing a 1.4/5 and 6.9 million viewers.

s fourth in ratings with a 1.0/3 and fifth in viewers with 2.6 million. “Legends of Tomorrow” at 8 p.m. ET debuted to a 1.2/4 and 3.1 million viewers. The season premiere of “The 100” at 9 posted a 0.7/2 and 2 million viewers.

PN to Save 8 BucksABC was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and fourth in viewers with 2.9 million. “Beyond the Tank” at 8 p.m. ET had a 1.0/3 and 4.3 million viewers. At 9, and “My Diet Is Better Than Yours” got a 0.7/2 and 2.3 million viewers.
Univision and Telemu
ndo tied for sixth in ratings,both with a 0.7/2. Univision was sixth in total viewers with 1.9 million; Telemundo was seventh with 1.8 million.
