“Empire” returned from a one week hiatus steady in the ratings,but ABC’s broadcast of the CMA Awards took the night in total viewers.
The country music awards point to averaged 13.6 million viewers during its three hour telecast, along with a 3.8 rating in the advertiser coveted adults 18-49 demographic, and according to Nielsen estimates. viewers with 2 million but tied for fifth in the key demo with a 0.8.
Telemundo came in seventh place with 1.7 million viewers and a 0.6 rating.
