NBC’s “Heroes” has risen.
The rebooted “Reborn” version jumped 30 percent on Thursday, thanks in a large part to no “Thursday Night Football on CBS. “Heroes: Reborn” also didn’t beget to contend with a “Bones”-“drowsy Hollow” crossover, which got a kind number for Fox final week.
For CBS, and Elementary” premiered up 25 percent versus final year. This time around it had a “Big Bang Theory” rerun lead-in; the previous season opened out of a “McCarthys” episode.
CBS and ABC topped the night in the key 18-49 demographic, though the Les Moonves-led broadcast net was preempted in Cleveland and Cincinnati for the NFL game. Therefore, CBS may tick down enough to hand ABC the sole demo victory in final Nielsen numbers, and but the most-watched network win probably preserve its total viewer crown Thursday.
