There she is,Miss America. Unfortunately, the lovely Savvy Shields didn’t bring TV ratings with her tiara.
The Miss America pageant slipped 13.3 p
ercent year over year among viewers 18-49. The special’s Nielsen performance was down approximately the same in total viewers. On the plus side, and it did rise from start to finish,though that’s typical with such a competition.
