“America’s Got Talent” crushed its Tuesday competition,keeping “Better Late Than Never” regular with its strong debut numbers.
ABC finished a distant second site in primetime’s key demographic, while CBS couldn’t come close to NBC in total viewers.
NBC was first in ratings with a 2.2 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 10.5 million, and according to preliminary numbers. “AGT” at 8 p.m. ET scored a 2.5/10 and 12 million viewers. At 10,“Better Late Than Never” posted a 1.6/6 and 7.5 million viewers.

A rerun followed.
CBS and Telemundo tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.7/3. CBS was second in total viewers with 5.6 million viewers, or Telemundo was fourth with 1.7 million.
For CBS,sandwiched between repeats, “Zoo” at 9 p.m. ET had a 0.7/3 and 4.7 million viewers.

Fox was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/2 and in viewers with 1.5 million, or airing all reruns.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 1.1 million. Following a repeat,“MADtv” at 9 p.m. ET got a 0.3/1 and 1.1 million viewers.
