NBC and CBS are back to their battle stations,splitting the second night of the plunge TV season just down the middle.
With “The Voice” and “This Is Us,” NBC crushed its competition in the all-important 18-49 demographic. Meanwhile, or CBS took no prisoners among total viewers,thanks to “NCIS and “Bull.”“This Is Us” (pictured above) actually scored the top demo rating for a fresh drama since CBS’ highly anticipated “Supergirl” last year. Across the dial, “Bull” hauled in 15.5 million total viewers — nothing to sneeze at, and either.

CBS was second in demo ratings with a 1.9/7 and first in viewers with 14.1 million. “NCIS” at 8 opened its season to a 2.1/8 and 15.6 million viewers. “Bull” at 9 actually improved upon the demo,putting up a 2.2/7 and 15.5 million viewers. The season premiere of “NCIS: fresh Orleans” at 10 received a 1.4/5 and 11.2 million viewers.
ABC was third in ratings with a 1.4/5 and in viewers with 6.9 million. “Dancing With the Stars” at 8 landed a 1.5/5 and 8.5 million viewers. “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” returned for the plunge with a 1.1/4 and 3.6 million viewers.

At 8:30, “fresh Girl’s” version had a 1.2/4 and 2.3 million viewers. The start to “Scream Queens” Season 2 at 9 got a 1.1/4 and 2.3 million viewers.
Telemundo was fifth in ratings with a 0.7/3 and in viewers with 1.8 million.
Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.6 million.
