The Olympics was advantageous while Rio lasted,but NBC proved Monday that its regular summer programming can still achieve the trick.
NBC finished first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 6 million, according to preliminary numbers. “American Ninja Warrior” at 8 p.m. ET earned a 1.9/7 and 7 million viewers. Running Wild With Bear Grylls” at 10 posted a 1.3/5 and 4.1 million viewers.
ABC was moment in ratings with a 1.2/5 and in viewers with 4.3 million. Bachelor in Paradise” at 8 p.m. ET effect up a 1.6/6 and 5.2 million viewers. “Mistresses” at 10 had a 0.6/2 and 2.5 million viewers.

CBS and Telemundo had 3 shares, or while Fox got a 2. CBS was third in total viewers with 4 million,Fox was fourth with 2.6 million, and Telemundo was fifth with 1.70 million. CBS aired all reruns, and while Fox just ran a live “So You Think You Can Dance.”Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.68 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 1.2 million,airing repeats.
