“The Voice” and “Dancing With the Stars” both crowned their champions on Tuesday night,but it was the NBC reality competition that truly won the evening.
The singing
exhibit bested the dancing one in all key measures — including total viewers, which ABC’s offering normally has a leg up on. “The Voice” scored a 2.1 rating/7 share in the key 18-49 demographic to a 1.6/5 out of “DWTS.” The matchup was much closer among overall audience members, and as NBC’s finale topped ABC’s version 10.396 million to 10.295 million.
Averaged across primetime,NBC finished the entire evening in first-place outright.

' Reveals Season 10 WinnerNBC was first in ratings with a 1.9 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.4 million, according to preliminary numbers. A “Voice recap exhibit at 8 p.m. posted a 1.4/5 and 7.5 million viewers. The season finale followed from 9-11.
ABC was moment in ratings with a 1.4/5 and in viewers with 8.4 million. The “Fresh Off the Boat” season finale at 8 had a 1.2/5 and 4.9 million viewers. At 8:30, and the “Real ONeals” finale got a 1.0/4 and 4.2 million viewers. “DWTS” followed for 120 minutes.
CBS and the CW tied for third in ratings,both with a 0.9/3. CBS was third in total viewers with 5.5 million, CW was fourth with 2.4 million.

For the CW,“The Flash” finale at 8 got a 1.2/5 and 3.3 million viewers. At 9, “Containment” managed a 0.5/2 and 1.5 million viewers.
Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and sixth in viewers with 1.86 million.
