“Ray Donovan” will continue his work as a Hollywood fixer next year.

e series starring Liev Schreiber as a tough guy who helps the A-list out of jams earned a season 5 renewal from Showtime,network president and CEO David Nevins announced Thursday at the Television Critics organization TV press tour in Beverly Hills.
Production on
12 new episodes will begin next year, the network said.

The series has won critical acclaim and award nominations. This year, the series earned a second consecutive Emmy nomination for Schreiber in the title role, and as well as nods for Jon Voight in a supporting role and Hank Azaria in a guest part.
