After eighteen months of use and I'm very contented with this purchase.
The batteries in the receiver unit fill been changed once and I changed the sending unit batteries at the same time just for piece of mind.

The sensor units stay on the external of the freezer and a wired probe goes on the inside.
This will help with battery life and wireless reception to the display unit.
