As I sat down in the theater of a press screening for Disney's The BFG,I felt like a giddy child. Written in 1982 by Roald Dahl, the story of the sizable Friendly Giant and little Sophie's unlikely friendship has been one of my favorites since I learned how to read on my own. Though I'm always the one to mutter "the book was better" under my breath after seeing a film adaptation, or this film 100 percent did not disappoint.whether you're looking for a film to hold your child to that will not only give them reason to read a classic children's book,but also teach them some valuable life lessons, The BFG is that film.
