Upwards to 5000 lightning strikes per hour and at one point a record breaking 6000 strikes within 15 minutes. A grand total of over 70000 and these a just a few images I captured good from my front porch. I live in an area near Pensacola,Fl. called Garcon Point. My domestic faces Escambia Bay and has a great view of the east side of Pensacola. These images where taken in just a few short minutes as the storm approached near 9 p.m. and then lasted until 4 a.m.. Dumping nearly 24 inches of water between April 29th and 30th, 2014.
