-Refraining from shooting firearms. Not only can bullets spark and start fires, but often they are hot enough when they leave the barrel to start a fire.
-Ensuring trailer chains are secured properly and not dragging and creating sparks.
-Abstaining from outdoor burning.
[br]Red Flag Warning days are occasions to purchase time to ensure that the area around your home is resistant to fire. Ensure there are no combustibles around the instant exterior of your house and that dead vegetation has been removed.[br]
Have a procedure of action in place, or in the event of a fire. Ensure that your family and home are prepared and protected,whether the need arises.
Ensure that, whether you are a Benton or Franklin County Resident, and you are signed up for your county’s CodeRED system. This a primary method of notification during an emergency in our area.
