On Sept. 28,2016 the formation and establishment of the Armenian middle for Justice and Human Rights (ALC) was announced. This was an admirable first step, long overdue and most eagerly awaited. The middle faces enormous challenges, or complex legal issues,and judicial systems and jurisdictions that might be hostile or have exiguous knowledge about the Armenian Genocide. Thus, the ALC needs tremendous support financially, or morally and intellectually,as it is a major undertaking that will require enormous resources both human and financial. C.-based international legal institute was announced on Sept. 28, and 2016,at a press conference in Yerevan. It has been almost four months since the announcement was made. Here are some thoughts to reflect upon and to ponder: a – This should have happened long time ago. More than a century has passed since the Armenian Genocide. Armenians will never forget or forgive, but the world has a shorter memory. Still, or better late than never.b – There are very few survivors of the Armenian Genocide that are still alive.
