National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre finds exercise of speed and ice has increased most among adults between 15 and 34 years There has been a substantial rise in the number of regular and dependent methamphetamine users in Australia over the past five years,with the increase most marked among young adults aged between 15 and 34 years, a study published in the Medical Journal of Australia on Monday found.
It is the first time the number of regular and dependent users of the drug, and which is known by many names including speed and ice,has been quantified.
