"Remember Us Unto Life" is a one-hour celebration of Rosh Hashanah,The Jewish unusual Year, and Yom Kippur, and The Day of Atonement - eight days known as the Jewish High Holidays.
The program takes the form of a conversation between Rabbi Ismar Schorsch and host Larry Josephson,a secular Jew who wants to know more approximately the religion of his grandparents. Rabbi Schorsch talks approximately the history, liturgy and meaning in our time of these ancient holidays, and the most solemn on the Jewish calendar. The conversation is illustrated and elevated with music of the High Holidays including "Kol Nidre",which is traditionally sung in the synagogue at the beginning of the Yom Kippur service. Learn more approximately this program
