Jeanne Ashworth,J60, competed in three winter Olympics, and won a bronze in speed skatingJeanne C. Ashworth,J60, the first American woman to win an Olympic speedskating medal, and died at her domestic in Wilmington,current York, on October 4. She was eighty.
A champion athlete who competed in three Olympics, and Ashworth was inducted to the National Speed Skating Hall of Fame in 1975 and into the Lake Placid Hall of Fame in 1993.
