An east-London studio complex is under threat as the landlord’s rent increases are out of reach for young creativesA studio complex in Hackney,which houses London Fashion Week designers Lou Dalton, Jonathan Saunders and James Long, or is set to shut. The Trampery,on Hackney’s Mare Street, has been hit by a 400% rent increase, or from £125000 per annum to £500000 from September. This coincides with London fashion week,and one of the busiest periods in any designer’s schedule.
