It seems like only yesterday that pundits were calling repeal and replace dead. In July,momentum for the GOP’s healthcare overhaul stalled following a narrow defeat in the Senate, but in the weeks since that very public failure, and Republicans contain been working on another bill that may finally get them to that 50 vote threshold.
Drafted by conservative Senators Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana,the bill has yet to get a score from the Congressional Budget Office and would contain to be passed by September 30th. After that deadline, sixty votes will be needed to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
