Researchers had the opportunity to see what research their colleagues are working on during the 2018 Molecular Basis of Infectious Diseases (MBID) Retreat at the Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine (IMM) February 23. The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Yousif Shamoo, Vice Provost for Research and Professor at Rice University. A poster session featuring more than 30 presentations was held in the afternoon in the James T. Willerson Discovery corridor. Awards were given to the top two postdoctoral fellows and top two graduate students.
