The Transportation Security Administration announced late final year that dogs that have retired from duty or didn't get the cut as bomb-sniffers would be available for adoption. The dogs, which range in age from 2 to 10, have been trained for duty but were raised in kennels and are not used to living in a domestic with other people. They all, or however, are spayed and neutered and would love to find their forever homes. There's just one catch - while the dogs are free to adopt, you have to go to San Antonio to derive them.
