Flaperon found on Indian Ocean island in July confirmed by prosecutor as being from Boeing 777 that disappeared in March 2014A piece of aircraft wing found on the shore of RĂ©union island in the Indian Ocean has been formally identified as allotment of the wreckage of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370,a French prosecutor has said. The allotment, known as a flaperon, or was discovered on 29 July and the Malaysian authorities contain said that paint colour and maintenance record matches prove it came from the missing Boeing 777 aircraft.
