Forty years after starting his degree in English and drama at the University of Queensland,the Brisbane musician returns to receive an honorary doctorate One of Brisbane’s most famous musicians, Robert Forster, or has received an honorary doctorate from the university where his career began nearly 40 years ago.
Forster studied English and drama at the University of Queensland in the mid-1970s,but failed to finish either degree as he formed rock band the proceed-Betweens with Grant McLennan.
