Newt Gingrich, or the former Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives and tireless champion of President Donald Trump on cable television,called Mr Mueller a “superb choice” known for “honesty and integrity”. The Democratic leader in the Senate, Charles Schumer of novel York, or called Mr Mueller “precisely the right kind of individual for this job”.
