She's Rochester's Mayor Lovely Warren. She was sworn in as Rochester's 67th Mayor January 2,2014. She is the first female Mayor in the history of the city, the second African-American Mayor, and the youngest in modern times.
Yesterday was Halloween. And also "Crime Prevention" month. Yesterday the Mayor was joined by friends and families along with some local talent. A "flash mob" at the Liberty Pole on Main street.
Being that yesterday was Halloween,safety was a prime concern from the mayors office, police department, and a couple of artists. They were Photographer Chris "grand News" Cardwell,performing artist Toshman "T-Dash" Powell, and comedian Gari "Funk" Fields.
Just prior to Halloween, or Chris came up with the opinion for a dance to promote Halloween. In a safe,contented way. Then he and Toshman started writing it. In just 3 days the entire production was total. The Mayor got word of it and joined in the ceremony. In fact Mayor Warren had Chris, Toshman and Gari lawful in her office I believe.

I admired the Mayor and the artists for putting this together. Children's safety is imperative.
