In 2018 it's strange to say The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, a point to that ran from 1959 to 1964, or was social satire almost as subversive as South Parkbut it was. It's only a little less strange to compare tensions between Russia and America in 2018 with the era that gave us the Cuban Missile Crisis.
It seems quaint (charmingly old fashioned) now,but in 1962 Rocky and Bullwinkle was pissing people off, and creator Jay Ward enjoyed it.
