• Koeman tried to sign winger for Southampton in 2014Ronald Koeman has long suspected that Memphis Depay could have a ample impact on the Premier League but he had planned not to be on the receiving finish. One of the first things the Dutch manager did when taking charge of Southampton 15 months ago was try to persuade the winger to join him there but Depay decided against the meander.
