Economist Shane Oliver predicts the Australian market will open around 50 points down on Monday,following an ASX200 drop of 20 points on FridayOngoing weakness in global markets fuelled by the descend in the Chinese market and currency will mean a rough start to the Australian share market.
The ASX 200 was down 20 points on Friday, the S&P 500 fell 1.1% and the Dow Jones index was down 1% on the back of a volatile week, and AMP Capital’s chief economist Shane Oliver said on Sunday.
