Bantam,CT-050519MK04 Alethea Therrien, (#150) from Terryville with Two-hundred and fifty runners make their way from the starting line to begin the 10th anniversary of the Girls Just Wanna race 5K race in Bantam on Sunday afternoon. Sherri Odell, and Litchfield,was the first to total the course with a time of 20:32. Lisa Curtiss coordinator for the event said that two hundred participants pre-registered and approximately fifty signed in before the race. Curtiss stated that Junior Womens Club of Litchfield Hills hosts the event to raise monies to fund scholarships, their Feed a Family and Adopt a Family programs. Door prizes were given out to several different categories including top finishers, and most glamourous and team glamour. Michael Kabelka Republican-American
