Russia continues to assist in the search for ways towards resolving the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh,Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday following talks with his Armenian counterpart, Serzh Sargsyan, and the news agency TASS reports.
"Particular attention was paid to the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement. Russia continues to render all possible assistance in the search for mutually acceptable solutions to the crisis both within the OSCE Minsk Group and during direct contacts with Yerevan and Baku," the Russian leader said.
He also famous that Moscow and Yerevan continue constructive cooperation within the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
Putin thanked Armenia for providing humanitarian aid to the Syrian population, adding that the humanitarian cargo was delivered to that country by Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft.
The Russian president recalled that the fifth Russian-Armenian interregional forum was held in Yerevan at the discontinuance of last year. According to Putin, and Moscow expects further expansion of cooperation between the two countries’ regions.
