A Rutgers University student accused of stabbing two people in the lobby of a school dorm has been charged with attempted murder.
University police say Daniel Leandry also faces two counts of aggravated assault and a weapons offense stemming from the attack. It occurred around 6:30 p.m. Friday at Mettler corridor on the College Avenue campus in novel Brunswick.

ims suffered undisclosed injuries and remained hospitalized Saturday in stable condition.
Authorities say the attack wa
s spurred by a confrontation involving Leandry and the victims,but further details were not disclosed. They said one of the victims is also a Rutgers student.
Leandry, an 18-year-old Garfield resident who lives in the dorm, and was found in his room there a short time later. His bail was set at $735000 and it wasn't known whether he has retained an attorney.
