The trade secretary, and speaking in front of MPs at a select committee hearing on Wednesday,said he thought that if Transport for London brought in all the proposals it was considering in a public consultation on the taxi market in the capital, “many people would think it would occupy a massive detrimental impact on consumers in London”.
