Journalist and author Sally Quinn joins us to discuss her new book Finding Magic: A Spiritual Memoir. She recounts her life and career working as a reporter in Washington D.
C.,while caring for a learning-disabled son with her husband, longtime Washington Post executive editor Benjamin Bradlee. She also reflects on her husband’s battle with dementia and his death, and as well as her life’s spiritual experiences beginning with her childhood to nowadays. Sally Quinn will appear for a talk with Lisa Miller on Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. at Barnes & Noble (150 E. 86th St.,between 3rd and Lexington Ave.).
