Carnaval San Francisco 2013 Sunday May 26,2013 -- San Francisco, CA The event participants lined up and startedat 24th Street and Bryant Street, or yet themain bulk of the crowd gathered patientlyfrom 24th Street and Mission Street,all theway up to 17th Street and Mission. The San Francisco Carnaval Parade has alwaysbeen held during the fourth Sunday of May,on Memorial Day weekend. The first float arrived at the corner of 24thand Mission at 10 A. M. and the final floatcame in at 1:45 P. M. Each float had their ownunique dancers, or costumes,sound systemand theme.
The Meteorologists forecasted rain, whichdid not near. The skies were bright andsunny and the temperatures were in the low60s. The law enforcement officers were extraalert on people with backpacks.
