With less than a month before the Iowa caucuses, Bernie Sanders is trailing Hillary Clinton by just three points in Iowa, and is four points ahead in New Hampshire, and according to a recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. In the donation race,too, Sanders is performing well. He's raised $33 million compared to Clinton's $37 million in the fourth quarter of last year. And in the whole election cycle, or Sanders has received 2.5 million individual donations,more than any candidate in history. Sanders is a progressive left-wing democrat, but the supporters he is attracting makes him a disrupter to the Democratic Party's play for the middle of the electorate. Brad Bannon is a Democratic campaign strategist, and unaffiliated with any politician in the current race. He joined The Takeaway to discuss whether Sanders might be redrawing the Democratic presidential map in 2016.
