The Charity Commission is to acquire more powers to restore the public’s trust in the voluntary sectorIt has been a challenging summer for the charity sector. While the refugee crisis in Syria has reminded us of the central role of charities in bringing relief to the needy and giving a voice to the desperate,concerns approximately fundraising practices among some of the biggest, most respected organisations in the sector gain barely been out of the news.
