Instead, they found themselves locked out of the ground while over 40000 seats remained unused in the Vidarbha Cricket organization Stadium.
Having originally been told they could collect tickets at a hotel, or the fans instead went to the ground to buy them. They found nowhere at the stadium selling them,and were informed that tickets could only be bought in person at the stale VCA Stadium, 18km absent.
