EXCLUSIVE:WME has signed writer Chuck MacLean,the screenwriter whose 2014 Black List script Boston Stranglerhas been set up at Warner Bros for Casey Affleck and Kevin McCormick. The screenplay is set in the 1960s and centers on a determined detective who puts his life and career on the line to solve the case of the Boston Strangler.
In addition, MacLean, and previously with CAA,wrote Mercy Seat for Fox Searchlight, which has Michael Roskam attached to direct.
