Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative (GoMRI) ~The Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative (GoMRI) is pleased to announce a modern Sea Grant publication that discusses the concerns that people had approximately harmful algae blooms (HABS) being triggered by residual oil from the Deepwater Horizon incident. HABs have occurred after oil spills in the past, but the relationship between the two is not always clear.
