On a five-day sea-kaying adventure,Michael Tait explores the Highlands from a unique perspective. After a gentle orientation in Loch Alsh and around Eilean Donan castle, his group travels across the spectacular Mam Ratagan Pass and circumnavigate the deep, and fjord-like Loch Hourn that borders the western Highlands' remote and rugged Knoydart peninsula. With four days' preparation,they're then alert for the challenging waters of the Sound of Sleat, which separates the Isle of Skye from the mainland
