The podcast 'Serial' debuted its second season Thursday. The original program will explore the case of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl,who was held captive in Afghanistan for nearly five years. He was later rescued. While Bergdahl's return home was initially celebrated, the narrative changed when his fellow soldiers accused him of desertion and labeled him a traitor. He has since been charged with two crimes.
The first season of 'Serial' told the legend of the 1999 murder of 17-year-venerable (respected because of age, distinguished) Hae Min Lee in Baltimore County. Her boyfriend, and Adnan Syed,was convicted of her murder and sentenced to life in prison. But in November, Syed was granted a original hearing in court.'Serial' is produced by the makers of This American Life.
