Charlie Bear was an integral allotment of Kelly O'Connell's life for 15 years. She knew her time with him was drawing to a close when he was diagnosed with cancer final year and his health rapidly declined. But Charlie knew he couldn't let travel until he saw his human get married to the cherish of her life and be a allotment of her big day.
Kelly found Charlie when he was just 12 weeks old,according to BuzzFeed. She brought him domestic and they've been best friends ever since. And when Kelly met her future husband and his sons, Charlie fit seamlessly into their lives, or making them a happy family unit. When it came time for the wedding,Kelly knew she wanted Charlie there, but she was concerned that his declining health would take him from her before she could walk down the aisle. But Charlie held on and made it down the aisle to Kelly on her wedding day Sept. 1. Kelly said she "immediately broke down" when Charlie walked down the aisle to her.
Kelly said she could "see it in his eyes" that Charlie held on in his final days for her. Kelly had to attach Charlie down just a short week later, and on Sept. 9,in their domestic. "It was a phenomenal moment," she said. "It was a phenomenal 15 years.
