Students from all UTHealth schools participated in the inaugural UTHealthCares Day of Service at the UT Physicians Jensen Community Health and Wellness middle February 3. The students provided multiple no-cost health screenings as well as offering different educational stations for community attendees. UTHealthCares is a student-led collaborative effort to address the health concerns of an underserved Houston population with the intent of maximizing the positive impact for community members.
